Going International Conference yiii

ESEA -- English South East Asia 14th International Conference held at Ateneo de Manila
Nov. 28, 2009..4:30am -- MJ and Bel were in 7/11 (our meeting place) and I was on my bed zzZZZZZZzzzing... =) Then, a gorgeous lady in pink came (hehe). We were supposed to leave at 5:30am but off we go at 6:20am.
It's kind of boring to narrate every detail. Hehe. But certainly, we enjoyed every second of our trip.
<<<--He is Brian Morgan (the 1st speaker). I admire him for his i
ntelligence and for being a great speaker. Unfortunately, we were late on his keynote address.

The convention was attended by English professionals from different nations of the world. It was WOW ! Really WOW.. From until now I can't believe I've been there. Yiiiii..
Say what?? We were the youngest cutest participants hehe wit
h our loveliest mentor. Those two were one of Dr. Bonny Cunanan's fans. ^_^

Second, we had coffee break (lots of coffee break actually or tea if you prefer). This portion of the seminar schedule is what I loved. Wiiii.. Delicious free foods. Yummy. AND a buffet. Wuuuu..

HAHA..Our professor caught in cam... She was red in the face 'coz she didnt have a slightest idea that her professor in BSU was one of the speakers. AHAHA.

For almost an hour she was always bringing it up. Wahahaha ^_^ There .. See her reaction when she read her prof's name... Bwahahaha...

Dr. Cunanan was the one im talking about. We were actually planning on inviting him to come to our school to be a speaker on our seminar (if the others would agree) It would be awesome!! I learned a lot from his lecture even though it was just few minutes or an hour..
He acquired many academic accomplishments and Mam Vix was his fruit of labor. (should it be the term?..yep) ^^

They were really sages. That made me realize I should love reading more more more. Hehehe. Speaking of reading -- that Rizal Lilbrary behind me (newly built daw?) is fascinating. That made me think of getting my masters at Ateneo. Hmmmm...

Love the freebies.. Yeeey yey yey. Love the bag, pen, pamphlets, id etc. I simply love the whole thing. We are going to wear it on Tuesday (tomorrow)
We took MRT and it was my first time (our with MJ and Bel). Hehehe. It was a shameful one hehe . Everybody was staring 'coz we were like hahahaha never mind... First times..u know?~~ that would give u idea..haha..
I want to bring it home but ahhh~~ can't.Php 14.00. That machine which doesn't accept a 2009 coin is really maarte..hehehe ^^

Of course, after seminar, we headed to different malls/stores and bought stuffs. Hihi. What a feet-aching experience but something worthwhile. I am not used to commute. And yes there was a long line to get a bus ticket to olongapo. Mam Vix accompanied us and she went on her way to Bulacan. We definitely totally certainly appreciate her kindness, sacrifices, time and we had a very enjoyable trip with her. Really cool ^_^. We thank her so much. Eventually, we arrived home safe and sound and hit the hay.Memorable indeed.

I hope next time, my co-english majors will have a chance to join us. C'mon, you will miss half of your life .. Dare not to pass it up again.

BTW. More thank you again to Mam Vix for her cool photographs with complicated stunts. You're really incredible Ma'am =) .. ^_^

This experience made me realize that the world out there is so full of challenges, i mean, it is a BIG world there. You need to be strong enough to endure it. I had the chance to see the big picture of the world and I found myself coping with it 'coz presently, I am not doing the studying. I am just doing what my professors instruct me..comply on their requirements but where is the real LEARNING? Do I study to get good grades only? Or do I even study the way it should be? Perhaps I should do more.. Read more.. And learn more in order to be part of the BIG CHANGING and ADVANCING world. I am getting ready to face reality. From this day on, I will study well ... Swear... I will get myself prepared for a bigger tomorrow and brighter future. I am very grateful to have come to this realization. It's really great to get exposure joining international conference or even national ones. It made me a better person.

November Blues

Butterfly?

I used to believe it was a butterfly
It was actually a moth
There it was at the curtain
Stayed for about three days
During my beloved aunt's burial
Guarding her sacred wake.

I dont know how to react
I dont know how to feel
I must be numb
After all of the series of events
How can I tell?

First is, I lost a very dear loved one
Even had a friend who forgotten her memories with us
Painful it is.
Tormenting.
November 2009, it all happened.
In January 1st I look forward,
To a new life, new experience, all new...
May I have a great start
A brand new beginning of ME ^_^
