This stanza I quoted which I originally read in the novel I'm currently reading entitled "Teacher Man" written by Frank McCourt made my heart cry out of joy and of sorrow. I know nothing about the tune--i simply am not familiar with the song. Nonetheless, I love it.

Sometimes, we never get to show our affection to our beloved mother. Sometimes, we never give credit of their sacrifices. Little do we know how tough parenthood is. We underestimated the responsibility and even ignore their love and compassion they shower unto us--their careless children.

There are lots of things we do not understand in this world. We need their guidance and support. We need them to enlighten our minds, to remind us and be aware of the danger there is. And in return, we give them no appreciation or any gratitude at all. Had I be the most sinful daughter ever existed?Had I not taught of God's words? Had I forgotten GMRC during my elementary days? Had I lost wisdom? What a foolish daughter I had become. It's never too late anyway. I may have disobeyed them. I may have caused an awful lot of troubles unto them. I may have been a fool but I am still their daughter learning from her own mistakes and fighting for every trials and tribulations of life. Never have I had intention to do things against their will. Never that I wanted to let my loved ones suffer from my faults. I assure them I will always be their idle but caring daughter who loves them much among anybody else.
Love your mom, your dad, your family. For not always you will be with them. There will come a time when you will face the world on your own. Regret is all there is. Don't let that happen. Show them how you love them and let them feel how much you care while there is still chance. Time is really of the essence. Be grateful while you have them around. Such a precious gift given to us that we should treasure as we go on with life. =)

Contemplating ....

It had rained cats and dogs. People remain to do things that they are bound to do. The ticking of the clock never stops. Days gone by so fast. The world is facing global crisis. All mundane. And I, nothing but a girl yearning for serenity, pause for a moment and let my soul feel the wind breeze of the sea, the sound of the waves reaching the shore with great harmony creating music in my ears, staring at the stars above the sky twinkling, brightening up the darkness of the night. My thought spoke, "No such entity could ever create all these so perfect and magnificent as He did."

I love nature. It brings solace to my whole being, cleansing my inner soul. I appreciate all things that He created, even the simplest and smallest ones. I learn to bring no harm on these splendid creations, having in mind that everything will come to pass. I fear the time when I would never get to have a break to have quality time with nature. I fear that it would be sooner or later where I would face a real battle field. I could do nothing but go with the flow of life. For this, I won't allow myself to get preoccupied with the artificial luxury in this world. This ain't home. I am but a traveler who seeks for the light and I found it. I know the purpose of my existence to which I am grateful of. I hope others too would seek and find the answers to their questions.

That was taken in Pandayan, our tambayan --actually "former". Our schedule is kinda hectic. We don't have much time to hang out together. (tee hee) So sad! However, we do have made an agenda. BWAHAHA.. So excited! That would be on Friday. Can't wait to taste "Big Ben" pizza. hehehe.. (drooling) If the gods and goddesses of fortune and fate would permit us ALL (English Majors) to come, that would be AWESOME.

A frustrated lawyer who is our breadwinner in our English family. I am telling you, she always SMILE, always.. And always brushes her teeth even we are having class. Hehehehe. I believe she will be a great teacher someday. Keep it up gurl.. =) Can't tell how much she adores being one. See?? She really really do love wearing our PLE uniform. Hehehe. A model teacher. I had a second thought before posting this pic. Hmmmmm.. HEHEHE !! Kidding!! That's my chibi sis. hehehe... Talk about similarities, we are both otaku, so to speak. Plus, we love koreanese/japanese series. We rarely get along with each other. I wonder why? hehehehe .. ^_^

They are the people I spend most of my time with. It's fun having them around. Even funnier if they arent around (kidding again!!). kkkk!! For over three and more than half years, we shared laughs and tears. I hope, until we finally step on the stage for our grad, still, we are complete. All English majors --including Edu,Bell,Michael and Sarah. But, it seems that we'll never be complete. =( Just a thought.
